- Junghwa Banjeom
- While there is a Japanese fried noodle called yakisoba, yaki udon was originally developed in Daegu 30 years ago, made by quickly frying Korean leek in a hot fire during summer, and with shrimp, squid, pork, and spinach in winter along with onions, cabbage, pumpkin, bean sprouts, and tree ear (a kind of mushroom for Chinese food). The noodles are also enjoyed with base ingredients, such as garlic and slightly spicy powdered red pepper.
